Laughing Against All Odds...

Laughing Against All Odds...

Lively, Dynamic, Chirpy and a Chit-Chatter…this onstage kid is no ordinary one, for he holds a tremendous ability to make you giggle and laugh out all your worries in life. He didn’t let destiny’s oppression, in the form of acute Cerebral Palsy, suppress his innate passion of delighting his audience with his charming humor-filled chit-chat and charming smile.

For Jai Chhaniyara of Gujarat, who was born in India in 1993, life was not much more than shuttling between hospitals for treatments, including numerous surgeries at the tender age when kids enjoy swinging in parks with pals, creating mischief all around.

Jai was born a surviving twin. His brother died the day after their birth. Their parents coped well with the pain of losing one of their babies. But life seemed to have more for them to suffer over, when they realized that their son was not able to grow the way kids normally do. They left no stone unturned in the treatment of their son, and by the age of six, he'd already undergone various surgeries. One fine day, when he was listening to a humorous audio recording, he felt his pain had minimized. At this time, he pledged to himself that he would challenge his pain with the best medicine, Laughter.

And then began a Saga of Excellence that drove the entire nation crazy!

People cackled holding their bellies, as he parodied puns, one after another, with a constant flow of unshaken confidence and unique style. Starting from a small family function, all the way up to national television shows, the wonder "Joy-boy" never looked back, and journeyed a long way, collecting numerous awards and accolades.

Today, he holds an elite position in the world of humor with media, and millions of his fans frenzy over his performances. Even today, he bewilders everyone with this extraordinary capability that evolved out of his disability. He enlivens the ambiance entirely, with his irresistible comical ways.

It's already been proved that physical pain is borne out of the inner self. You change the attitude, and the pain is gone, or atleast minimized to a good extent. Not only this, but Laughter improves blood circulation, thereby increasing xxygen supply in the body. It’s also  known to regulate hormone secretion in the body, thus enabling you to bid despedida to a variety of ailments.

Jay not only has helped his audience take a laugh break from miseries of life, but has benefitted himself as well.

Today, this little boy who seemed glued to his wheelchair can walk with the help of a tripod stick. He can also read and write on his own!

Already a celebrity and nation’s darling, he can look up to the sky with dreams unlimited, and a fulgent future, for he continues to make everyone laugh against all odds!

Heart Rendering Tale, narrated beautifully! Inspiration can be drawn from anyone, of any age. The only ones who are not inspired are called 'stones'. No wonder, mental strength is far mightier than physical one. Thanks for sharing!
