A Little About Me

I've been sittin' in a wheelchair for goin' on 29 years, now. I'm a mom, a grandma, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a quad, an employer and best of all a Child of God!

Now, I in no way mean to make anyone angry or uncomfortable due to my "politically incorrect" mention of God. I hope that I am not banned from here or asked not to mention Him but if that happens, so be it. I realize that not everyone shares my beliefs but if it weren't for my faith in Christ I would be one miserable creature!!

As I mentioned above, I am quadriplegic.  My neck was broken in 1984 when we were rearended by a sleeping driver.  I've had nearly 3 decades to observe the more "normal" human race. It's been especially interesting to me since I was once walking in the clouds with so many others, in an oblivious fog to so much in this life and the world, until I was benched for the remainder of the game and left to sit just below that cloud of fog and the sunrise became even more gorgeous!

Voted. Of course it's OK to mention God; as you say, religious faith is the main thing that keeps a lot of people going! You sound like a very positive person. You might be interested in my latest blog, Reinventing the Wheel(chair), and if you like it, please vote! :-)
