Beyond the Chair

I had spent the past few hours reflecting on the readings from church. Christmas is a season for celebration and renewal of faith. It makes me realize I should be doing more to reflect these timeless words of wisdom. Therefore I am going to try and find the time to pay a visit to the veterans who are restricted to long term care facilties.

What I am trying to say is this. If you know or encounter anyone that are restricted to a wheelchair please try to look beyond the machine and get to know the person in it. The machine is just the surface. If you take the time to get to know the person restricted to it you will find an untapped source of wisdom. That was the answer in my private moments.  I hope it will serve you well.

True words from you sir and a great decision. According to me, such a person will be having lonely hours, if someone can show them to do something fruitful for them and others, there will be really grateful. Am I right...
