Combining Three Of My Passions for Those with Mobility Issues

Zumba is more than a dance and exercise workout for me. Although those two are relished, it’s about culture, connections and relationships. This morning, I was doing a Zumba-Athon to raise money for one of my instructor’s church. I made my $10. Donation at the door, went in there and before doing my thing, I was already socializing with everyone involved with the event. They were ten of my Zumba instructors there. Two of them invited me. We had this event going all across the border, Facebook and twitter. There was a huge turnout. God definitely was in the house. The instructor, who led this got her church good money.

With all that said, during the 90 minutes of Zumba that I did with the group, I have paved myself a path for writing for the products here or on their way for those with mobility issues. I was floor that the standing wheel chair that I was thinking about, already exists. Then we have the robotic wheelchair, tank wheelchairs and the Helileg. All of these are good products that work for those who need them. I was actually thinking about who to ask for a grant for 18 months of science mechanic school. I’m mechanically inclined. Then the flood of thoughts came to my mind about this. Then I told myself that you’re above being a fool. Organize this! Stay in your passions in your corner of the world.

So I am going to develop a website for mobility issues where I will utilize all my writing skills. I will use this opportunity to fit people properly with mobility issues. I plan on writing the government and hospitalization to get most of these products covered. And keep writing them until they are. This is hard work, but not impossible. I will get sponsors to support myself doing this and to pay my overhead. My love of health and fitness will also be included on the site. There will be testimonies, pictures and videos on the page.

I am thankful for Rolling Without Limits for providing me a platform to learn and grow, both as a writer and for the benefits of the Mobility Community. I do a lot of processing while being focused during workouts. There are Ms. Zumba Wheelchair Group workout groups. Go to www.zumba.com to look for one in your area.

Right now, my family who are caring for those with mobility issues are asking me about which cahirs that that they can get covered by hospitalization that will work to get them in and out of. My relatives have chairs that are not fit for them. One of the groups that I go to, has people who need help with this. I tell them that I write for this group, here and all about National Wheelchair Day and the founder, Steve Wilkinson. They ask me where to send them for the info because their chair doesn't fit them either. Some of them have physical pain from the chair not fitting them. They are only ones covered by medicare right now. So yeas, there is a need. My writing will assist them, in this case.Thank you for the vote.
