Discrimination Toward Others

Many times people discriminate someone or a group of people because they are different in one form or fashion. Clothing, religion, hairstyle, the list goes on and on. Considering that we are made in God's image how come we don't see that when looking at someone else? All we see is the outside and not the person. He or she could even do some of the same things you do such as a particular hobby, work at a company you might even have worked for, etc. Maybe one of both of you are struggling with the same issue and not even know it!

From personal experience, we don't know what the other person is facing in their life. If you don't want them to discriminate you for above reasons why do it to them? Some of the greatest people may just need a smile or kind word to make their day a little brighter. Why not let that come from you!

If someone believes, dresses, talks, etc. differently than you, it only means that they have chosen to express in their own manner. If no harm is coming to you or anyone else, Bless them and wish them well.

We can all learn from one another and that is what makes the differences in us all so special. As children we encourage them to be themselves even if that means wearing many colors or putting their shoes on the wrong feet. Remember Dolly Parton's song "Coat Of Many Colors? It became a hit for her even tho others made fun of her and the coat.

Think of life in the same way. We are all a part of the coat of many colors in this world. God knows He is doing. Trust in that and you will never go wrong!
