Ezy Mov Wheelchair Taxi Company Made a Partnership With Indian Railways to Provide Service to People With Disabilities

In India, for long-distance traveling people mostly prefer trains as it has such an immense railway network across the country. Due to the lack of access to the station, it can be very challenging for people with disabilities.

But soon this issue will be solved by Ezy Mov, a company that offers wheelchair-accessible transport services as the will make railway stations more accessible for people with disabilities.

India's 1st wheelchair Taxi Company, Ezy Mov is joining hands with the Indian Railways for their first-of-its-kind project that will be started in Mumbai where they will provide all the travelers with disabilities and senior citizens transportation service to and from picked railway stations.

Due to the less accessible to the railway stations, there a lot of people with a wheelchair or restricted mobility and even senior citizens have stopped traveling by trains.

The pilot project is all set to be launched in January 2020, The company is hoping that this project makes a positive change in the nation. While talking to NewzHook, the Director of Ezy Mov, Bennet Dcunha said"We want to ensure that people who have to travel long distances through trains are not discouraged to travel due to lack of inclusive transport facilities.

We are starting the service in Mumbai and we are sure it will enable more people with disabilities to travel to and from railways stations hassle-free. We want this tie-up to be a positive example of the public and private sector coming together to offer inclusive and accessible facilities to the disabled community. In 2020, in Mumbai, there will be a totally nine various railway stations in Mumbai where the transport service will be available. The pick and drop facility will be started at Borivali, Panvel, Kurla, Kalyan, Thane terminus, Dadar, Lokmanya Tilak, Bombay Central, and CST.
