Ezy Mov and myUDAAN Has Launched Wheelchair Assistant and Caretaker Service For People With Disabilities

The Ezy Mov, India's first wheelchair taxi service, has joined with mobile app myUDAAN and has come with good news for all people with disabilities and the aged from Mumbai and Navi Mumbai.

The duo is started wheelchair assistant and caretaker service from people who are living with disabilities and elderly people. With the help of the duo, the service can come to doorsteps. So whenever a person with disabilities wants to visit a friend or a doctor so they can call on +91 93207 76611 and appoint a caretaker or ask for a wheelchair.

While the service is going on there will a caretaker who sees that your journey is safe and accessible and also a wheelchair just for you. Earlier this month, the duo had launched the service which got a very good response by many. Yogesh Shah who stays in the South Mumbai had tried out this service and is facing limited mobility since he has motor neuron disease said he had to visit a family function and this service was perfect for his journey, he was very happy with the facilities he got.

The Founder of myUDAAN, Ravindra Singh said, "Many disabled people stay in buildings that have no lifts and need a wheelchair and a professional caretaker who can take them down the stairs safely. We are catering to all types of requests like a visit to the park, wedding, mall, hospital, etc. We also offer this assistance to disabled people who want to make trips out of town".

In the caretaker service, there are both male and female available. 24 hours before you have to order the service. The facilities charge per hour 100 with a minimum charge of ₹ 500.

In the future, the duo is thinking to start this service in other cities but right now they are focusing on Mumbai since it a wider market for Ezy Mov. On 20 February they are going to start a pickup and drop services on the stations, said the Co-founder of Ezy Mov, Bennett D’cunha.
