Magic Planet Has Again Has Open Doors of Opportunities For Youngsters With Various Intellectual Disabilities

In 2018, when the Trivandrum -based, Magic Planet had started the 'India Fort' it was a show where youngsters with disabilities used to earn their money by performing magic shows which were a great success.

Now on 7 November, The officials of the Magic Planet had join hand with Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and have started the 'Different Arts Centre' where youngsters with disabilities can showcase their arts. since then the event has already got plenty of good responses.

The center has started since the "India Fort" where their magic shows put on by youngsters living with disabilities. Approximately, 25 youngsters with various disabilities have been reached out to the M-Power. These talented youngsters had made the visitors and guests experience some amazing magic shows at the 'India Fort', moreover, the youngster could independently earn some living.

After the success of 'India Fort, The officials start 'Different Arts Centre' where the youngsters get various opportunities. There will writers and aspiring painters who will be there for the visitors, moreover, dance, music and drama performances will also be part of the Different Arts Centre.

Since the center has been started there is a lot of good responses by the guests, said Manager of Magic Planet, Jin Joseph.

The Child Development Centre (CDC) in Trivandrum had recently conducted a study and came to know that such inclusive programs put on a great and positive impact on youngsters with disabilities.

Currently, at the center, 100 youngsters with disabilities including Down syndrome, cerebral palsy and autism have been performing. In the coming days, Officials are hoping that numbers increase, as they are a few people at the center.

To make that all the youngsters have been the best service possible, there are health officials, Special educators, and therapists at the center.

The founder of NGO Helping Hands, Jolly Johnson says, this can be great benefits for more and more youngsters. "I feel this initiative needs to be highlighted better. To start something for youngsters with disabilities is great. This also helps families to be confident about their children. Society will start accepting them. It will also help to create awareness about disabilities", says Jolly.
