The Glasgow-based mobility company that created the first-ever cooling backrest cushion especially for wheelchair users so that they stop getting overheated, WheelAir, has now teamed up with Precision Rehab a powerchair specialist to build the bespoke powerchair.
The duo came to know about the V2 WheelAir cushion integrated on a bespoke Paravan PR50 powerchair. This is the first-ever project for both companies.
WheelAir was founded in 2016, the company was the first temperature control system designed specifically for wheelchair users. Basically, the device that is combined with the wheelchairs which slowly fills the air up to the user’s back so overheating and sweating can be controlled and even the clothes will be dry.
Last year, WheelAir had launched a new and updated version V2 cushion which offers users with a seating system, more fan speeds, 24-hour battery life, and a new wireless remote.
Established in 2015, Precision Rehab is a company that provides specialist powered wheelchairs in the UK marketplace. With the help of the authorized dealers, the company sends out its products on a direct sales basis across the UK and Ireland markets to keep their assessments and testing on a higher level.
Back in December, two new experiences members were invited into the family by the company to coverage throughout England and Scotland.
The Paravan PR50 powerchair by Precision Rehab has a lot of variety available in it like it allows you to turn on the spot, a multifunctional joystick control, seat slide, three different headrest options, adjustable armrests, and lift function.
In order to make the bespoke Paravan PR50 in a higher manner, Matthew James who is the director of the Precision Rehab called up WheelAir to know that if they want to combine bespoke Paravan PR50 with WheelAir then is there any chances to losing any of the functions, such as adjustable lumbar supports and electric recline.
The idea of integrating WheelAir into the back of the powerchair was a great success and their clients from the Precision Rehab are very happy with the new bespoke Paravan PR50 powerchair.
